I’ve been using an admin bar plugin for some time now, which sadly hasn’t been particularly friendly under wordpress 2.1.
Thus, I present to you Admin Strip 2, the rejuvenated version of the wildly successful admin bar.
Key features include:
- fully compatible with the latest and greatest Wordpress (2.1.x)
- links to comment moderation (and shows pending comments)
- detects if akismet is installed and indicates pending spam comments
- is 99% fat free
Please be aware that this is not compatible with 2.0.x builds - a version to suit 2.0.x is in the works - stay tuned!

Very nice. I just implemented it in a 2.1 WordPress blog. No problems so far.
