In order to better track changes to the plugin code, I’ve started a google code project - check it out for more details
From the ashes of sig2feed, comes RSS Signature1, which should happily function in Wordpress 2.0.x and above (including the shiny new 2.1.0 release).
I would recommend the update, due in part to some code clean-up2, combined with the options panel moving under ‘Manage’ in the Wordpress admin interface. Why the move? Good question.
It occurs to me that whilst sig2feed RSS Signature appends information to the RSS feed, it is really adding content to entries, thus it’s a more suitable location to manage ‘content’, if you will. The options panel is (also) terribly crowded as it is once a few plugins are enabled.. and it (personally) annoyed the hell out of me being stuck way the hell out in the options page.
So, please do visit the official plugin page and grab yourself the latest 1.1 release.
