All done.. welcome back.. the ‘foo is now clustered, baby!
Brace yourselves..
I’m about to migrate to the new (mt) grid server technology that has just gone release.
Expect things to get one hell of a lot faster1, over the next 24 hours or so as the ‘foo receives some clustered love.
The grid server technology has been in development by (mt) crew for a few months and promises to be something a little special:
The Grid’s on-demand scalability means you’ll always be ready for intense bursts of traffic and the growing audience resulting from your online success.
Add to that (finally) support of PHP 5, a recent MySQL version, custom tweaked Ruby on Rails and this thing is more hip than 60’s disco ball.
Say goodbye to shared servers and hello to the system administrators’ wet dream - cluster technology. :)
- .. if not a little bumpy, breifly (↩)
