After checking up on the results latest wordpress 2.x theme competition (yet to be judged) I read the entries are being posted to the wordpress theme viewer.
I cannot believe the numbers of people passing off openwebdesign layouts or clones of existing themes, as their own. If you’re going to rip off somebody’s work1 - at least have the common decency to note that in either the CSS style sheet or template ((while I have made this theme here my own - I still proudly wear the 5thirtyone link.)).
I will say however, that there are still a number of interesting designs, well done to those who have entered new designs and good luck!

Much credit to you for leaving the link in. It’s unfortunate that some individuals believe that by modding a few lines of code, the original author credit is no longer necessary. I took some time to look through the theme viewer and concur that there are a number of themes which claim to be by certain individuals when in reality, the real author is not even acknowledged. Keep up the good work on this one. It’s one of the best Foliage (original) mods that I’ve seen thus far.

Thank you. I suffer from a rare and debilitating disease called “designusnonskillus” which prevents me from being able to actually design something that looks good. I’m pleased with the changes I have made, however. :)
And yes - it irks me that folks think it’s perfectly acceptable to rip designs that have often had quite some time put into them.
