Whatever have you done to the wordpress.org search, Mr Matt ‘wordpress’ Mullenweg? It’s so very badly broken.
Once upon a time, in place not so far away, one could spend quite the merry sunny afternoon or cool winters evening searching the codex for all manner of code goodies.. but not today.
Oh how I long for the rush that occurred moments before the exact block of code needed was presently neatly within a throng of slightly different, yet similarly relevant, items of interest.
I now sit here silently, a broken man with sweaty palms and an oddly nervous twitch, like a mute with Tourettes, all because my single most favoured Wordpress resource in the known universe, doesn’t love me any more.
Ford, where’s my towel?
The reason this frustrates me so, is that I am on the cusp of releasing this very theme you see before you, with a few enhancements - however I am hamstrung by a search engine, that does not search.
Those with a keen eye may have noticed a few minor tweaks already, although there is more to come. Expect an announcement soon, regarding the availability of “broad leaf” - which is coming along nicely..
Now, where was I?
Oh, yes - the codex is just too damn big to spend fruitless hours back and forth attempting to navigate something that is quite literally a “search first, navigate second” environment.
Please, Mr Wordpress - fix the damn search engine. The spice code must flow.

I could’t have said it better myself.
