I have had a look at (mt) before, but it was out of my price range. Now though, when I compare it to my current host, its pretty good, infact bandwidth is MUCH better so I may look again when my hosting comes up for renewal.

It was coming up to renew time with dreamhost and really, I’m happy to pay more for solid, fast and reliable web services. Doing the sums and looking at the outages i’ve experience over the year, shows that (mt) is a good move.

For my next trick, I shall master
.htaccessrules to somehow transparently re-write old_domain.net to new_domain.com so folks can transition across.Unfortunately, due to breaking my own rule (always buy domain names separately to hosting) I have a new domain name to transition to.
The upcoming weekend is going to be a little.. erm.. busy. ;)
On the bright side - the new domain name kicks butt.
