During the last two weeks I have been feverishly collecting parts to build a small robot, dubbed the ‘ i-bot‘ via a local rag called The Advertiser.
It was developed here in South Australia by microbric and is a surprisingly smart little bit of kit. The i-bot is able to read barcodes, as well as programmed via a small Macromedia Flash program that generates code via a cycling white/black box.
The software as a hell of a lot of fun to use and I’ve ended up running one i-bot as a small IR controlled ‘bot, with the other dedicated to being a test-bed for software programming. :)
