Interesting..
Just updated the ‘forces blog via SVN and it appears we’re getting close to a new version.
I’m probably going to get clubbed for making noises about 1.6 (can’t say I care greatly, to be honest), however I’m not about to suggest everyone rocks over to wordpress and checks out the latest SVN (or nightlies, for that matter).
It’s Alpha, fully bleeding edge, has small moving parts and is likely to be hazardous to those under five.. and very cool. Bleeding edge means just that - it has sharp edges, likely to draw blood (just like paper cuts), and fuck do I hate paper cuts.
I must admit to enjoying the certain exhilaration one feels when throwing complete caution to the wind and running alpha software, bugs and all. :)
Mind you, so far everything is running pretty smoothly- pretty much what I’ve come to be expect with wordpress. Sure, there will likely be a couple of bugs to squash, but then this thing isn’t 3 lines of perl code.
My thoughts so far? Right.. here we go..
The back-end interface is, well, quite sexy compared to previous versions, not to mention the ability to `****` and `****` elements around the `*********`.
The overall look is very `************` and `******`, it’s about time the `*********` had a clean up and the work put into the `*********` really does show.
A++++++++ Will buy from seller again !!!!1!
What?! You think I’m going to tell all? Get real!
I do have some sense of decorum and a healthy respect of fair play. Besides, I can’t go stealing the developers’ thunder just yet. :)

Uh, we can just go and SVN out the source or download a nightly, so I don’t see why you’re trying to hide it from us…
I’ll probably set up a test blog anyway.

“I’ll probably set up a test blog anyway.”
Feel free. It’s was an attempt (perhaps bad in hindsight), at humour. :)
Running 1.6a as a test blog first would be advisable - although it’s a bit more stable now, it did initially have gaping holes..
